liveliness

A lively life: living in ways that help us keep living; life that begets life.
Lively living excites more living.

-

Liveliness is opening up possibilities for further possibilities, through the specific materials available.
Liveliness is what we might also call love, or grace.

-

We can put this in many other terms...

caring in ways that helps us to care more.
designing that keeps on deigning
loving that keeps on loving
keeping the conversation going
relations that enable even more relation
and so on

-

I want this.
A more lively life.
Not stuck in the mud, but effervescent.
Don't you?
Isn't this the basic need at the heart of all human needs - to be enlivened? (many needs/desires/materials contribute to this).
It might even be the need (groan) of the whole universe.

We may differ in our ideas of what a lively life might look/feel like, and what might enable it.
But let us differ, even argue, in a lively way.

-

This is the minimal ethical program: to be lively, to have liveliness, to keep life going.
Simple enough to say, but to live it is way more precise and intricate than that.

-

To think about liveliness means there's a possibility things might not be lively.
We could have dreariness, and deathliness.
What is the condition of living (especially, even mostly?, human living) that liveliness is contingent (variable) rather than a certainly (constant)?? That's my version of 'the fall'.

-
What is lively? Then let's do/be/enable THAT!
This is my version of the ethical manoeuvre
